Southeastern Illinois College is pleased to announce the signing of Adam Voss to the SIC Falcon Archers. Voss, a student at Carlyle High School, will soon bring his abilities to Harrisburg where he will compete under Head Coach Ricky Sauls.

"I am excited to go to SIC and have a fun time shooting my bow and shooting clay birds," said Voss. "Out of all the schools I looked at, SIC was the best one I've seen."

During his time at Carlyle High School, Voss has been involved in various activities, including FFA, golf, and the bass fishing team, where they achieved 2nd place in the state tournament. At SIC, he will be shooting trap and archery.

Head Archery Coach Ricky Sauls praised Voss's accomplishments in archery and throughout high school, noting "Adam is new to competition archery but is definitely not new to competition with his accomplishments in trap and bass fishing. Adam is also very accomplished in archery after harvesting a turkey and a deer with his bow about 10 minutes apart”

Adam Voss is majoring in the OWL program at SIC, further demonstrating his commitment to wildlife conservation and outdoor sports.

The addition of Adam Voss to the SIC Falcon Archers further solidifies the team's reputation as a competitive force in collegiate archery. The team, which began as a small pilot program in 2011, has since won national awards against Division I universities, expanded to include an indoor facility and indoor team, and regularly hosts high school tournaments. The Falcon Archers are proud members of USA Archery and ASA Archery.
