Southeastern Illinois College Falcon Archers and Head Coach Ricky Sauls have announced the signing of Carly Rouse of Carmi, Illinois.
Rouse is graduating from Penn Foster Online High School and plans to major in Outfitter Wildlife Management at SIC with aspirations of becoming a Conservation Officer.
Despite only shooting a bow for five months, Rouse has already shown tremendous promise and competitiveness. In addition to archery, she is a member of the Carmi Rifle Club and competes in the Carmi Rifle Club Pistol League.
Her hobbies include shed hunting, hunting, fishing, competition shooting, steel challenge, and working on guns.
“Carly has a lot of raw talent and is just a sponge when working with her,” said SIC Falcon Archers Head Coach Ricky Sauls. “For Carly, second place is not good enough. I am excited to have the opportunity to coach Carly at the college level and can’t wait to see what she accomplishes on and off the range.”
