Southeastern Illinois College (SIC) is proud to announce the signing of Hunter Garner to the SIC Falcon Archers, the college's renowned archery team. Garner, a native of Springfield, IL, has been shooting since 2011 and currently represents Rigney’s School of Archery while attending Springfield High School.

"I am very excited to attend such an amazing school with such an amazing coach," said Hunter Garner. "I owe all my awards and pretty much everything to my parents, and I will continue to do my best for my future at Southeastern."

Head Archery Coach Ricky Sauls expressed enthusiasm about Garner joining the team: "I am looking forward to having Hunter on the team. He has numerous podium finishes and will be a great asset to the archery team. Hunter is very motivated and has goals set for himself."

While at SIC, Hunter Garner plans to major in Criminal Justice and aims to become a Conservation Officer. His addition strengthens the SIC Falcon Archers, a team that has grown from a small pilot program in 2011 to a competitive force, winning national awards against Division I universities. The team has expanded to include an indoor facility and indoor team, as well as hosting high school tournaments. The Falcon Archers are proud members of USA Archery and ASA Archery.
