Southeastern Illinois College (SIC) is thrilled to announce the signing of Klayton Clark, a senior from Hamilton County High School, to the Falcon Archers archery team.
Klayton has been passionately engaged in archery for six years and has been a dedicated member of the Hamilton County Scholastic 3-D Archery (S3DA) program. In addition to his accomplishments in archery, Klayton has also been an active member of the Future Farmers of America (FFA) and the golf team at Hamilton County High School.
Klayton will be majoring in the Outfitter Wildlife Management Program at SIC and plans to pursue a career with the forest service. His commitment to both his academic and athletic endeavors has been outstanding, and SIC is excited to welcome such a dedicated student-athlete to their team.
Reflecting on his journey, Klayton expressed, “I want to thank my coaches for pushing me. Archery is a fun experience, and I am excited to shoot for SIC.”
Josh White, Hamilton County Archery coach, praised Klayton’s development and contributions: “Klayton began competing in S3DA his 7th grade year. It has been a pleasure to watch him grow in archery over the past six years. Klayton has come a long way in S3DA and has been a great student to watch compete. He was always a great team member and will be greatly missed by Hamilton County, but we look forward to watching his success with SIC! Congrats, Klayton.”
Ricky Sauls, SIC Archery coach, is equally enthusiastic about Klayton joining the team: “I look forward to having Klayton on the SIC archery team. He has a great deal of enthusiasm, not only for archery but also to start the next step. He is coming in with a lot of experience in archery, and that is going to be a huge contribution this year for SIC archery.”
SIC and the Falcon Archers eagerly anticipate Klayton Clark’s contributions and success in the upcoming seasons.
