Southeastern Illinois College is proud to announce that two members of the Falcon Archery team, Hunter Garner and Allison Prentice, have been named to the USA Archery Collegiate Archery All-American Academic Team.
This national honor recognizes student-athletes who have demonstrated outstanding achievement both on the archery range and in the classroom. To be eligible for the Academic All-American Team, archers must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 through the fall 2024 term and must place in the top 25% of their division and class based on scores from the USA Archery Indoor Nationals.
“Hunter and Allison exemplify what it means to be a Falcon Archer,” said SIC Head Archery Coach Ricky Sauls. “Their dedication to academic excellence and competitive performance is something we are incredibly proud of.”
The USA Archery Academic All-American distinction highlights the top-performing collegiate archers in the country who meet these rigorous academic and athletic standards. Garner and Prentice join an elite group of student-athletes nationwide earning this recognition in 2025.
