The Southeastern Illinois College (SIC) Softball team showcased their prowess at the prestigious Fastpitch Dreams Classic in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, from March 3rd to 5th, 2024. The Falcons delivered outstanding performances throughout the tournament, securing impressive victories against renowned opponents.

On the opening day of the tournament, SIC dominated Lackawanna College (PA) with a 6-0 victory and followed it up with a commanding 10-0 win over Monroe Community College (NY) in just five innings. The Falcons continued their winning streak on day two by defeating Bay College (MI) with a score of 11-2 and Patrick & Henry (VA) with a score of 8-1 in six innings.

On the final day of competition, SIC faced off against Delta College (MI) and secured another victory before concluding the tournament with a hard-fought match against in-state rival Kankakee. Despite a valiant effort, the Falcons fell to Kankakee with a final score of 3-2 in 8 innings, concluding their remarkable run at the tournament.
