Southeastern Illinois College (SIC) is excited to announce the addition of Lake Ward to the Falcon Men's Bowling Team. The team continues to strengthen its roster with the recruitment of this talented athlete from Herrin High School.

Head coach Doug Cottom is excited to add Ward to the team for the 2023-2024 academic year, stating, "We are thrilled that Lake has chosen our program to further his bowling career. He joins us right behind his former teammate Jayden Vorhes, a Herrin 2022 graduate. This young man has the game to really step in and play right off the hop. If he applies himself and works at it, he can definitely continue after his two years here. We are always thrilled to land a player out of Coach Hubbard's program at Herrin."

Lake Ward brings a wealth of skill and potential to the Falcon Men's Bowling Team. As a standout player at Herrin High School, Ward showcased exceptional talent and dedication to the sport. His commitment to excellence on and off the lanes makes him an excellent addition to the SIC bowling program.

With Ward's arrival, the Falcon Men's Bowling Team gains a player who possesses both technical expertise and a strong competitive drive. His ability to adapt to various lane conditions and maintain a composed demeanor under pressure sets him apart as a remarkable athlete.

The Falcon Bowling Team has been competing since 2018, besting Division I universities in regional competition as a member of the United States Bowling Congress Collegiate.
