HARRISBURG, Ill. (December 1st, 2022) β Sophie Bormann, a senior outside attacker from Massac County High School, has signed with Southeastern Illinois College to play volleyball after high school. Bormann is an outside attacker who will join the Falcons after a tremendous prep career that included being named to the 2022 SICA All-South 2A Team this season.
SIC Head Volleyball Coach Jon Watts is excited to add another talented player to his recruiting class and will look for Bormann to make an immediate impact. "Sophie is an outstanding athlete who will add a lot to our offense and defense,β Watts said. βShe has the ability to attack several different tempo sets and plays excellent defense. She also has a dominate serve. We are thrilled to have Sophie join the SIC Volleyball Family.β
The Falcons compete in the very competitive Great Rivers Athletic Conference as a part of the National Junior College Athletic Association.
