The Southeastern Illinois College Falcons Men’s Basketball team opened their 2025–26 season in dominant fashion, capturing the championship trophy at the JUCO Tip-Off Classic in Marshfield, Wisconsin. Games were held at the UWSP–Marshfield Physical Education Complex.

The Falcons began the weekend with a win over the host Marshfield Marauders before defeating a traditionally strong NJCAA program, Gogebic Community College (Michigan), 80–73, in the championship game to secure the title.

Sophomores Jonathan Harrison (Herrin, Illinois) and Lukas Pigg (Benton, Kentucky) were both named to the All-Tournament Team after impressive performances throughout the event.

En route to the tournament, the Falcons also picked up a convincing road victory over Dayspring College in Lake Zurich, Illinois, completing a perfect 3–0 weekend. Earlier in the week, SIC opened the season with a home win over St. Mary of the Woods College, a four-year program from Terre Haute, Indiana.

The Falcons are back in action at home this Saturday, November 8th at 3 p.m., when they host Tennessee Valley Community College inside Joseph Deaton Gymnasium.
