Southeastern Illinois College has added a local standout to its roster as Karol Simmons of Harrisburg High School signs with the SIC Falcon Bowling Team. A four-year starter for the Bulldogs, Simmons advanced to the sectional tournament in each of her high school seasons and came within reach of qualifying for the state tournament all four years.

“Really excited to get Karol,” said SIC Head Coach Doug Cottom. “She was a 4-year starter on the Harrisburg girls team and just narrowly missed a trip to the state tournament each of those four years as an individual. She has a very basic, simple game that will transition well to collegiate competition. I look forward to having her on campus this fall.”

The SIC Falcon Bowling Team, formed in 2018, competes on a national level under the governing body of the U.S. Bowling Congress Collegiate.
