Southeastern Illinois College (SIC) is proud to announce the signing of Ashlyn Conkle from Hardin County High School to the Falcon Archers archery team.
Ashlyn has had an impressive high school career, balancing her commitment to academics and extracurricular activities. She has been a member of the National Honor Society, Future Farmers of America (FFA), Archery, Hall of Fame, Scholar Bowl, and served as Treasurer and Reporter for FFA. Her dedication and hard work have made her a standout student and athlete.
Ashlyn plans to pursue a career in teaching, demonstrating her passion for learning and helping others. She credits Officer Rister and Mrs. Love for their guidance and support throughout her high school years.
Expressing her gratitude, Ashlyn shared, "I want to give a special shout out to Officer Rister and Mrs. Love for helping me through all my high school career."
John Hall, Hardin County Archery Coach, praised Ashlyn’s abilities: “Ashlyn is a great student and a great archer. I’m looking forward to seeing her grow in archery.”
Ricky Sauls, SIC Archery coach, is excited about Ashlyn joining the team: “I have been watching Ashlyn shoot for several years and she has the potential to be one of the best. She will be a great teammate for the rest of the team and brings a lot of experience to the team.”
