Southeastern Illinois College Head Men's Basketball Coach Sam Swinford has announced the signing of Bryant Jenkins, a standout 6'4" wing from Lawrenceville High School in Lawrenceville, Illinois.

Jenkins comes to SIC with an impressive list of high school accomplishments, including being named to the Capital Classic All-Tournament Team twice, earning Marion Black Diamond Shootout MVP honors, and being named Christmas Tournament MVP twice. He was also a two-time All-Little Illini Conference (LIC) First Team selection, voted Best Player in the LIC twice, and amassed a career total of 1,559 points. Jenkins' accolades also include being named to the All-State Second Team, earning All-State Honorable Mention twice, and being selected to the All-South Team.

"Bryant is an exceptional talent, and we are thrilled to welcome him to the SIC Men's Basketball team," said Head Coach Sam Swinford. "His skillset and who he is off the court will be invaluable to our program, and I have no doubt that he will make an immediate impact and will be one that Falcon fans love watching play this winter."

In the summers, Jenkins played AAU basketball for Distinxion out of Indiana, further honing his skills and competitive spirit.

Jenkins will join the team as part of the 2024 recruiting class, marking the fifth signing and the fourth from southern Illinois.
