Southeastern Illinois College Men’s Basketball and Head Coach Sam Swinford have announced the signing of Jackson Klope, a 6’6” forward from McCracken County High School.

Klope brings a strong combination of size, toughness, and academic excellence to the Falcons program. During his career at McCracken County, he was named to the KHSAA Academic All-State Team all four years while also surpassing 500 career rebounds. He finished his career with the highest field goal percentage, most rebounds, and most assists on the team for the 2025-2026 campaign, while also serving as a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

“Jackson is a huge addition to this recruiting class,” said Swinford. “He’s a young man with a high ceiling that impacts the game in so many ways. Missing his junior season with an ACL injury was a tough setback, but he’s worked extremely hard to get healthy and is back playing at a very high level. We’re excited about what he brings to our program both on and off the court.”
