Southeastern Illinois College Men’s Basketball has announced the addition of Jace Wilkinson, a 6’0” point guard from Collinsville, Illinois, to its recruiting class.
Wilkinson is a dynamic addition to the Falcons program, bringing a combination of skill, toughness, and a high basketball IQ. Known for his competitive nature and consistent work ethic, Wilkinson has developed into a player capable of making an impact on both ends of the floor.
Wilkinson had a decorated high school career, serving as a Team Captain and earning Team MVP honors. He was named Defensive Player of the Year and received Southwestern Conference All-Conference recognition multiple times, along with Academic All-Conference honors. Additionally, he earned several All-Tournament Team selections and was named a Game MVP at the Southwestern Illinois Classic Shootout. Wilkinson also finished his career with 132 three-point field goals, ranking 7th all-time in Collinsville history, and was a member of a Southwestern Conference Championship team.
“Jace is the type of player we want in our program,” said SIC Head Coach Sam Swinford. “He competes at a high level, plays the game the right way, and is committed to getting better every day. We’re excited about what he will bring to our team and our culture.”
Wilkinson’s ability to contribute in multiple areas of the game, along with his team-first mentality, makes him a strong fit for the Falcons as they continue to build toward the upcoming season.
Southeastern Illinois College looks forward to welcoming Wilkinson to campus and seeing his continued growth both on and off the court.
