Southeastern Illinois College men's basketball coach Todd Franklin recently signed Hardin County guard Travis Cowsert to a full basketball scholarship at SIC. Cowsert finished his career as the second leading scorer in Hardin County history with 1,177 career points.

               After getting a taste of the big-time with an appearance in the event last year, the Southeastern Illinois College Shotgun team came away with a third-place overall finish at the Association of College Unions International (ACUI) National Shotgun Championships, held March 18-22 at the National Shooting Complex in San Antonio, Texas.
