Amber Holt, former Middle Tennessee All-American and Southeastern Illinois College NJCAA All-American, was recently honored by the WNBA by being named to its 2008 All-Rookie Team. Holt, a first round draft choice of the Connecticut Sun, played and started all 34 regular season games. She averaged 6.5 points and 3.1 rebounds per game and had 11 double figure scoring games, including a high of 19 points against Detroit.
